Tom Cipolla founded Onion 3D Design Solutions in 1999 specializing in architectural visualization, animation, and product illustration. Born in New York and trained as a sculptor, Tom worked in the bronze foundry industry for many years as a mold maker. He began working digitally in 2000. Tom has written articles for Autodesk Siggraph Catalog, AugiWorld Magazine, and numerous online tutorials. Tom has taught foundry mold making, sculpture, drawing and has provided training in several software packages, including 3DS Max, V-ray, Photoshop, & etc. Onion 3D provides visualization and animation services to architects, planners, and industrial designers nation-wide.
